The W.A. Social Dancers Association (WASDA) is a community based not-for-profit organisation designed to promote and expand social dancing in Western Australia/Perth.
WHAT WE TEACH
Every Wednesday is a fun night of dancing. Learn the easiest partner dance style, with spins, dips, and top music hits. Every class is beginner friendly, so you'll be looking and feeling great on the dance floor in no time!
Smooth Jive is an evolution of Modern Jive, a dance style that originated in France in the 1980s and has since become popular in many countries around the world. It is a fusion of various dance styles, including swing, salsa, and rock and roll, and is known for being easy to learn and adaptable to a wide range of music.
MONTHLY DANCE PARTY
The first Saturday of each month we hold a dance party where all partner dancing styles are welcome.

THE MUSIC WE DANCE TO
We dance to a variety of the latest music, suitable for a range of informal partner dance styles (including Smooth/Modern Jive, West Coast Swing, Blues, etc).
We have a public suggestions playlist on Spotify. Dancers are welcome to add their favorite tracks they like to dance to. We try to accommodate all styles and special requests wherever possible.
